Clone Wars Red Packaging Leaks Out

There's been some speculation about when the new red packaging is set to hit retail. Is there a hard street date or not? Nevertheless, some stock has leaked out! Click through for more information!

A trip to one of my local toy run stops yielded some unexpected results. I was surprised to see some of these items myself, as I had been expecting to see them in either July or August. What did I find?

CLONE TURBO TANK - $99.99

One of my finds was the Clone Turbo Tank. AND IT IS BIG!!! The package is slightly smaller than that of the AT-TE, but the Turbo Tank has some weight to it. All told, it can carry 20+ Clone Troopers into battle. The Turbo Tank includes 1 x Clone Trooper pilot and a BARC Speeder.

(Please pardon the camera phone photos!)

ARC-170 FIGHTER - $49.99
There's some interesting news in the Deluxe Vehicles front. First, the price. There's been a good deal of discussion within the collecting community about the price point. This sample was priced at $49.99. While it's still more expensive than the previous version of the ARC-170 that was offered at retail, it remains just under that $50 price plateau.

Additionally, Hasbro is taking a page from the Indiana Jones vehicle playbook. And that is by offering up packaging that can be converted into a display backdrop.

DELUXE VEHICLE & FIGURE - $16.99

The Clone Wars line appears to be serving as something of a test bed for a Deluxe figure line. The first wave are almost exclusively items that have been offered before in one form or another. They have been redecoed to a degree. Additionally, the Crab Droid may have been resculpted for this version from the Revenge Of The Sith Crab Droid. The offerings that I found were from wave 1, and that lineup is as follows:
-Anakin Skywalker with Can Cell
-Clone Trooper with BARC Speeder
-Battle Droid with Armored Scout Tank
-Crab Droid
