STAR WARS: THE BOUNTY HUNTER SERIES
DENGAR ARTFX STATUE

A KOTOBUKIYA Japanese import! The acclaimed series of Kotobukiya ARTFX Statues expands with the addition of the highest requested characters from the Star Wars universe: THE BOUNTY HUNTER SERIES!

From the darkest chapter of the saga, Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back, Darth Vader has summoned six of the fiercest mercenaries in the universe: 4-LOM, IG-88, Bossk, Boba Fett, Zuckuss, and Dengar.

"Payback," they called him, a bounty hunter with a gravity well-producing chip on his shoulder. Sure, the professionals will advise keeping hunts from getting personal. For Dengar, however, personal vendettas have fueled much of his career. The Corellian was once a daring swoop-racer until a competitive rival named Han Solo cut his career short. Although it was Dengar who was at fault -- he crashed his swoop into Solo's vehicle -- he blamed Han for the debilitating cranial trauma that followed. Dengar was patched together by agents of the Empire and transformed into a remorseless killer. The bio-implants that replaced damaged flesh stripped all emotion from Dengar, save for hatred and a burning need for revenge.

Crouching down into a sniper pose, Dengar measures 7 inches tall at 1/7th scale, and aims his Valken-38 blaster rifle. His piecemeal Imperial style armor is thoroughly detailed and accurately weathered, and also includes his sidearm blaster – a handgun identical to the model popularized in the original trilogy by Han Solo.

Each of the Bounty Hunters will include special bonus parts for you to collect. Once all six Hunters have been released, you will be able to assemble the bonus parts into a brand new, full size DARTH VADER ARTFX Statue!  A free $100 value given at no additional cost!  The bases in this series can be linked together on any side, creating a variety of display options for the full series of characters. Line them up as first seen in Empire, or use the Darth Vader as a centerpiece to assemble the bases to create the symbol of the Galactic Empire!

That is a lot of bounty to be hunted, so let’s review…

  • A new ARTFX Statue each month, six in total
  • Interlocking bases, which can be arranged to form the Imperial logo
  • Bonus figure parts that can be assembled into a full size Darth Vader statue
  • Additional bonus parts will also be included so that Vader can be displayed in three different poses
  • Additional bonus parts: Darth Vader's Head, Right Arm #2, and Right Arm #3

With its large scale and impeccable paint applications, this ARTFX Statue is a snap-fit kit that can be easily put together in seconds without glue or modeling skill. Look for a new Bounty Hunter each month!
