More news out of San Diego from Sideshow, Hasbro, Koto, and more...

Pete talked to several reps and found out some additional information:

Sideshow
The 12" Jabba the Hutt goes on sale this Friday (July 20)
They will be producing a full 1:1 scale replica, with working electronics, of both C-3PO and R2-D2! The price? About 7K each!
Sideshow will happily replace any damaged packaging from their 12" figures if yours happened to arrive in less than mint condition, at no extra charge. And, if you prefer to have yours mint, be sure to tell them in the comments when making your order and they will insure that it ships to you in mint condition.
Princess Leia in Boussh Disguise will be the first figure in the new Militaries of Star Wars line.
Clone Troopers and Stormtroopers are coming, as soon as they work out the logistics of the best way to create them so they can share as many parts as possible.

Hasbro
The upcoming Galactic Heroes figures will now come with usable diorama packaging
The small unleashed line will continue
The future of the 7" scale unleashed line will depend on the sales of the upcoming greatest hits wave.

Tidbits
Kotobukiya will be launching a new, Star Wars dedicated web site.
Although there is nothing new at SDCC, Master Replicas will be making an announcement on Friday or Saturday.

Stay tuned as more news comes in...
