The cat is out of the bag thanks to the Star Wars Show. Vintage Kenner inspired The Black Series 6" figures will be coming on cards to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Star Wars (well, at least Luke Skywalker (X-wing Pilot) for now). If you read any of the comments when this news began to break, Hasbro may be in an interesting predicament. 3.75" collectors aren't interested and from what we've tallied so far, 6" collectors have no interest in buying the same figures repackaged in this vintage Kenner packaging (something that 3.75" SA collectors would have purchased tenfold). It's going to be an interesting 40th anniversary celebration. Hopefully it will all work out for the best.
