Why We Will Wait Forever To No Avail For Things To Change

This is why things aren't going to change for the better for the Star Wars super-articulated 3.75" line, folks. As a stock company, cutting costs for higher profits is the number one goal. And because these lower quality items sell at higher prices regardless (if they can be found), why would Hasbro even attempt to make higher quality items to endanger those higher profits? Despite what feels like the worst time to be a Star Wars collector, Hasbro is still turning a buck in their stocks. Realistically, Hasbro is doing everything right from a business standpoint. But are they good stewards of their license that they hold onto like grim death and won't sub-license out to another company? Should the SA 3.75" line perhaps be given to new energetic and eager company that will make most out it sub-licensing? Heck, give Funko the rights so they can make non-Bobblehead Pops! Funko certainly knows how to please the "small insignificant group of collectors" that buy their products. Hasbro probably will never again produce the quantity or selection we want to see – or want to purchase. We hope they will at least consider subletting their license to another company who does make incredible collector geared products. Market Watch has the full story. Special thank to JTA reader D N for the link.
