How Does Stuff Fly Off The Shelf When It Didn't Enter The Store To Do So?

Whenever someone reaches out to Hasbro customer service, he or she should just prepare himself/herself to receive a canned response. That is what customer service reps are trained to do. One of our readers, who has asked to remain anonymous, reached out to them frustrated over not being able to find any Star Wars figures in his area. Keep in mid that this reader is an active toy runner and checks daily for stuff. So what do you do when you get a response like this? Hasbro also states that more products are due this month. We'll see. We'll see. They also confirm that it could take "several months" for any of us to see products. I don't know if I can even believe that. I mean, those Walmart exclusive TBS 3.75" figures STILL have yet to go on pre-order... Click through for more.

I'm having an unbelievably difficult time finding any figures from the Star Wars Black series 6" line besides a bunch of Jakku Finns and Constable Zuvio. I check various stores almost daily, and they are difficult to find online (besides aftermarket sites like eBay ).

Is this a problem with the stores or a distribution issue with Hasbro? It's unacceptable for it to be this difficult to find toys for the largest movie ever. What also worries me I what your production plans are like for the new Rogue One movie. I'm concerned I won't even have adequate Force Awakens figures before the marketing switches to the new film in December. It's insane.

What is the plan to get proper stock in the stores? I can't even support my local shops because I'm afraid I can't find what I want, and I resort to online preorders. Even these keep getting delayed!

Please advise.

Hasbro is proud to help fans bring the fantasy of Star Wars to life with our action figures, vehicles and role-play toys. Our toy lines reflect the amazing variety of heroes (and villains!) throughout Star Wars lore.

Demand for product from the Force Awakens has been overwhelming, and we've heard from several retailers that all our Star Wars toys are flying off the shelves.

I can assure you that we have been shipping and continue to ship our Force Awakens toys to all major retailers. Also, this month we are shipping new merchandise to retailers nationwide to support the movie.

Please keep in mind that depending on time of year, retailer distribution systems, store inventory and sales patterns, it may take from several weeks up to several months for some products to show up on store shelves!
