It's Getting Old - When Will Retail Be Truly Well-Positioned For TFA, Hasbro?

I don't deny for a minute that some areas of the USA are getting some sweet stock at various retailers as far as Star Wars toys are concerned. But Northeast Philly has been suffering from a drought since Force Friday. Store exclusives have very little difficulty arriving, but general release merchandise is a rarity, almost like a unicorn. Aside from an occasional Goss Toowers and PZ-4C0, it has been a struggle and without online availability, I wouldn't have much to show you here on JTA. Today, my local TARGET received a huge restock of toys. I was excited.... for about 30 seconds. Not one Hasbro box. Wait. I lied. There was a Play-Doh mutli-color can case in this mess. This store has had nothing since Force Friday (aside from the store exclusives) and a periodic Goss Toowers wave. What gives? And this is the trend all around me at Walmart, TARGET and Toys R Us. Even my local Walgreens have nothing but 6" Obi-Wan Kenobis. I hear this all the time from many people. I can't be alone, right? This is the worst handled new movie product launch event I have ever witnessed. The Clone Wars film was handled infinitely better. (Plus, the merchandise was amazing too.) I really hope things begin looking up.
