On a trip to Target today in the outskirts of Portland, Oregon, I was completely shocked to see a single Rebels R2-D2 and C-3PO set hanging on the pegs. None of the other Rebels figures were in stock (I asked, of course...) I'm not sure if this means Rebels figures are heading into wider availability at brick and mortar sooner than we thought. The price came up as $9.99 (no sales tax in Oregon) using the aisle barcode scanner so they are in fact in the Target system.

After my initial report of finding the R2-D2 and C-3PO Rebels figure set at Target today, I stopped into a second Target store in the Portland Oregon area and found more Rebels figures on the pegs. Although only two (Zeb & Stormtrooper and Clone Wars Obi-Wan Kenobi)...it seems the first find wasn't just a fluke. The Rebels figures are in fact trickling into Target stores as of today. Now if I can just score a Chopper and Inquisitor.
