Sweet irony. The perfectly beautiful long-awaited Bastila Shan figure JTA reader Bombadgungan has wanted for "years" couldn't have arrived in better condition except for one major issue. Or maybe two major issues. Or maybe this beautiful mess is more disastrous than first believed. We forget. This seemingly perfect story crashes and burns rather quickly. Hi JTA,

I wanted to share this story of my recent Hasbro Toy Shop purchase. After a long wait since missing her in Wave 9 of The Vintage Collection and a few instances of The Black Series Bastila Shan going out of stock online, I finally was able to secure one in my cart and make it through check out. It was a long two weeks waiting for delivery. That day finally came this week and it was with much excitement that I slit open the pristine shipping box and lifted the veil of brown packing paper to find my prize taped to the bottom of the box. Taped! Wait, what?! Yeah, some shipping clerk, in their infinite wisdom, thought taping across the front of the card to secure it to the bottom of the shipping box was brilliant. You see, that way it wouldn't bounce around and get damaged. The good news... careful and patient peeling removed the packing tape without any damage to the otherwise pristine card. The bad news? The bad news is REALLY BAD! The figure perfectly (factory?) sealed within the bubble of this TBS #20 Bastila Shan card is none other than the orange-suited Snowspeeder gunner himself, Dak Ralter! Bastila Shan? More like Bastila "Sham".

P.S. I have not had a chance to contact Hasbro Toy Shop about this error, but I will be sure to report on the result.
