Do You Want To Know What Hasbro Said About Saga Legends Wave 3?

Many collectors are still looking for the Snowtrooper, Luke Skywalker (Jedi), et. al from the Saga Legends line. It's shocking to say the least. Remember when Hasbro told me at multiple media events that The Vintage Collection "greatest hits' waves had indeed gotten out yet none of us could find one figure from these so-called waves at retail, especially wave 14 (as well as others)? Well, either denial or complete confusion seem to be their tools of choice. JTA reader Daniel D., desperate to locate the third wave of Saga Legends, contacted Hasbro customer service and after a length investigation period, came back with an answer that essentially slapped him in the face. Are you ready? Then click through!

Hey JTA,

I know there's been some concern from some collectors about the availability of wave 3 of the Saga Legends figures (Snowtrooper, Darth Maul, Luke and Obi-Wan) that showed up in Canada and nowhere else. I chatted with a Hasbro rep online a week ago, and I finally got a response today. Am I missing something? Not a single major retailer or reputable collecting site has had U.S. versions of these figures listed, yet Hasbro is claiming these were released to all major markets in the U.S.

How is it that none of our fellow JTA regulars have found these either? Is this a blatant lie or a diversionary tactic by Hasbro?

It looks as though most of these are going to be showing up on the "Rebels" cards later on this summer with the exception of the Darth Maul, so I'm not overly concerned. I would like to hear what Hasbro has to say about this in person at SDCC.

(Editor's Note: As Dan Curto showed us back in May, you're absolutely correct.)

Dan from Chicago

So are these locked in a warehouse someone deep in Area 54 too?
