What more can go wrong? Well, maybe this isn't so bad for JTA reader Gary H., but it's not a great testament to the health of the Star Wars brands or a good sign that retail has a remote clue of what's going on anymore. Click through for this unbelievable retail experience.

Paul,

Here's a unique store report for today. When my Target store reset last summer, we did not have the Black Series 3.75" figures on our plan-o-gram any longer. We have never received a box of those figures......until today.

We received one box of Wave 3 TBS today. The reason for this is that the box was mislabeled at the distribution center. It actually had a shelf label for the 6" black figures. Since the 3.75" figures in our store's system still share the DPCI with the old TVC figures, this new box of TBS actually scanned up at $0.00. This is because this DPCI was clearanced and processed out of our store long ago.

I convinced them that they should be sold, since they were new and still at regular price at other stores. Much to my surprise, when they were given a price, it ended up being at an 80% mark down. So I got these figures for $1.54 each!! I only got the four figures that I liked the best (Vizam, Mara Jade, Darth Plagueis, and Stormtrooper). These may be the first and last TBS I'll ever see at our store. Funny how things work sometime.

Keep up the fantastic work with JTA!!!

Gary H.
