Welcome to our next Q and A of the Day post! This column will be published daily, weekly, monthly, or just based on how many questions I get emailed – but no more than one a day. Feel free to send in your questions and I will put them in the queue. Click through for Q and A of the Day: Day 44. Topic: AMP'D

Q: While anything like starwars angry [birds], or starwars choppers makes me ill, there was one spin off toy line that did manage to catch my attention. I speak of AMP'D.... What ever happened to it. I seen the pics back in 2011-2012, even some taken at toy fairs. The line was ready to go, then dropped off the face of the earth... What happened (Aarren A.)

A: That was a line many collectors were interested in seeing available, and maybe one day it will, but for now the line is canned. Its cancellation was announced at Toy Fair last year I believe (I might be wrong). It was a bit of a shocker because with the success of building toys (mainly LEGO), Star Wars fans of all ages were eager to make and augment their own Star Wars vehicles. If everyone thinks it's worthwhile, I can see what I can cull out of Hasbro about this line at Toy Fair this year. 2012 and 2013 left Hasbro spinning aimlessly and playing catch-up on an emergency basis thanks to Lucasfilms' sudden last minute decision to cancel the rest of the 3D releases of the films. Some products, like AMP'D got caught in this vortex of reorganization. Right now I don't have more information than that, so I will see what else I can find. The only official press information surrounding this line can still be found at starwars.com HERE.
