Welcome to our next Q and A of the Day post! This column will be published daily, weekly, monthly, or just based on how many questions I get emailed – but no more than one a day. Feel free to send in your questions and I will put them in the queue. Click through for Q and A of the Day: Day 43. Topic: Are you sitting on some breaking news?

Q: Hi Paul, I feel like you're sitting on some news regarding the return of the vintage collection. Good things on the horizon? (Chris J.)

A: Hey Chris - I wish I could tell you I definitely was, because there isn't a collector on Earth more than me who wants to see the return of that marvelous collection. We did recently publish a Rumor Report that surrounds figures from The Vintage Collection, but it's one I am having quite a bit of trouble believing myself. I suppose anything is possible with Hasbro, so maybe a possibility exists that Hasbro has changed their mind on The Black Series line, that is will begin to start seeing repacks. The first four choices, as seen in our rumor report are interesting. I think about half of them should have been held off longer in favor of Emperor's Royal Guard and Ponda Baba (Walrus Man), but it appears that the two figures I don't share the same feelings about are declaring higher values on the aftermarket. We are only weeks away from Toy Fair, so let's see what is fact and what is fiction. All I know is I want to finally see something that is new, never released before and totally is geared with the collector in mind only. Give me a Sandcrawler, give me a new Darth Vader's TIE Fighter, just don't give me more five points of articulation (which Hasbro now says ARE for kids as well as collectors) or Prequel Trilogy Anakin Skywalkers and Obi-Wan Kenobis. Keep it here for our annual NY Toy Fair coverage as we are usually one of the first sites, if not the first to bring you the latest announcements from Hasbro.
