Hi Paul,

Here's a fun way to spend a rainy Saturday afternoon! Using some office accessories from Ikea and Staples and using some decals I found online (thanks to Frank Diorio's Diorama Workshop and ErikStormtrooper's Imperial Gallery sites), I created these two dioramas in just a couple of hours.

The Tantive IV corridor is a metal desk organizer, called Kvissle, that I picked up at Ikea for $6. The shape of it, particularly the curved walls, really reminded me of the Rebel Blockade Runner's hallway, though it's walls are a little low for the 3.75" scale. I painted the cork tread gray and folded down the pencil holder.

The Death Star wall is a metal bookend I got at Staples. The shiny black finish on the base even picks up the reflection of the wall "lights"!

While these certainly pale in comparison to some of the awesome dioramas your other readers have built, these relatively inexpensive items make for very sturdy and effective diorama environments!

Best,

darthpurge
