Welcome to our next Q and A of the Day post! This column will be published daily, weekly, monthly, or just based on how many questions I get emailed – but no more than one a day. Feel free to send in your questions and I will put them in the queue. Click through for Q and A of the Day: Day 5.

Q. I am really excited about the Saga Legends Stormtrooper. The sculpt is the best Stormtrooper yet. I would certainly like to see one with full articulation in the future and I am not big on the 5 point articulation moving forward, but the figure just looks great! Do you know if the neck is ball joint where the head can just pop off? I have never done any customizing, but I would love to make a Han and Luke Stormtrooper. What would your advice be on doing this as a custom? Also, if I was to may be pay someone else to do it would you recommend someone? Thanks!

A: Admittedly, the Saga Legends Stormtrooper does look pretty darn cool. It's classically vintage in more ways than one and you're absolutely correct about the sculpt looking excellently, especially since many of the super-articulated Stormtroopers recently released in the line seem to have things about them that keep them from "perfection". I must add however that I am a bit eager for The Black Series 3.75" Stormtrooper coming up. In my opinion it may be the best super-articulated Stormtrooper without a removable helmet yet. I could be wrong, but I have a good feeling about this.

As far as the figure's features, we won't know too much about this until the figure starts arriving at retail and production samples can be inspected carefully. I can tell you from experience however that Hasbro typically uses a thicker ball neck for armored characters than they do for "unhelmeted" characters. So it will likely be that you can't place the head of the Saga Legends Han Solo on the body of the Stormtrooper. But who knows? Maybe Hasbro will make this line more friendly this way and provide more play value for kids an collectors this way. We will just have to wait and see.

As far as customizing? This is something I cannot answer. I will however defer you to our good friends at Yakface.com and ImperialShipyards.net who have phenomenal customizer members in their forums that can help you out much better than I can. If you are a customizer, please feel free to leave the information Jeff is looking for here. Thank you! There is a great community out there that strictly focuses on this exact thing.
