Welcome to our next Q and A of the Day post! This column will be published daily, weekly, monthly, or just based on how many questions I get emailed – but no more than one a day. Feel free to send in your questions and I will put them in the queue. Click through for Q and A of the Day: Day 4. (Thank you Jayson!)

Q. Hey Paul. Question: Do you think Hasbro or do you know if Hasbro has any plans on releasing any creature packs in the future? The Qui-Gon & Eopie was pretty decent as well as the Taun Taun packs. Much smaller creatures would be better than some of the larger creatures for example the above stated. With The Clone Wars we saw plenty of different planets and creatures ended. (lord varion)

A: If you're asking whether we will see any The Clone Wars beasts, I would almost bet my collection that we will NEVER see them. Hasbro was reluctant to release any impressive volume of The Clone Wars characters after the 2011 phase of the "Shadow Of The Dark Side" line came to a close. 2012 was decent, but 2013, well, you all know what happened there. Even when things were great, we didn't get any TCW beasts at all (that I can recall - someone tell me if I am wrong). I agree that we love them and I would venture a guess that kids would love them too, but Hasbro didn't see it worth their while.

An all-new wampa is likely, but I would imagine that would come by itself in The Vintage Collection packaging and released as an exclusive. But other Prequel Trilogy characters? I just don't know. I thought the Arena Encounter TRU exclusive Battle Packs provided collectors with tremendous updates to the Geonosis Arena beasts, so I am not so sure if they would be considered for all-new sculpts.

I agree that the Qui-Gon Jinn and Eopie mail-away set from the Legacy Collection was great. Not only was that a fun set, that was more importantly a clear indication of Hasbro listenting to collectors, something that they have turned a deaf ear to recently. In fact, the set did so well that Hasbro couldn't fulfill all the requests they got. People actually received cancellation notices. Too bad that wasn't available at retail. That would have sold like hotcakes for $12.99 to $14.99. But what do I know? With Hasbro continually scaling back how many products they release in a calendar year, unless it's an exclusive, I just don't see them taking chances on what they deem " risky" options for line and getting sold at retail again. Things are changing and not for the better. That includes what Hasbro releases and the collecting culture and attitudes of the public. I suppose we have the power to change that, but have we reached a point of no return?
