Shaking Things Up A Bit - Approaching The Star Wars "Saga" Line

Jedi Temple Archives is first and foremost eagerly gearing up for The Black Series lines as well as some of the Star Wars [Darth Vader/Revenge Of The Sith] line too for our reviews. But for "in-between" filler, we will be looking at the 2002-2004 Star Wars "Saga" line to keep the RDRs running. (more....)

Because we're anal-retentive archivists here at JTA (go ahead, make fun), we have decided to once again think outside the box and divide this period into four sections (something that you actually might see frequently) but in a different way than you've probably encountered in the past. The archiving for the Star Wars "Saga" collection will be line look driven.

The Star Wars "Saga" went through four distinct line looks which appeared to change with each calendar year (but really did not). This means we're no longer referring to it by the years (2002, 2003, and 2004) and instead by how the packaging housing the action figures and vehicles looks. The banners above give you an indication of how we're bundling the various line looks.

The Star Wars "Saga" basic figure lines will be broken down as follows:

Star Wars "Saga" [Phase I] - '02 #01 through '02 #52
Star Wars "Saga" [Phase II] - '03 #01 through '03 #16
Star Wars "Saga" [Phase III] - '03 #17 through '04 #21 (plus the "Phase II" carry-forwards into the new line look)
Clone Wars
- '03 #42 - '03 #51

There will likewise be the same division of remaining products like 12" figures and vehicles done via line look too.
