JTA moderator Sjefke has reported one of the most bizarre finds we have seen to date. Click through for the drama. This one is strange.

A 2002 SW "Saga" Padmé Amidala ('02 #02) figure was hanging from the pegs at his local Walmart. The bar code was replaced with a new one that looked legitimate (maybe made by a Walmart employee if that's possible). The bar code scanned as a GI Joe Snake Eyes figure at the price finder, yet rang up as a $9.96 Star Wars figure at the register. (He needed the pillar for a custom job - that is why he bought it.)

Sjefke writes:

It rang up at a Manager's register as SW figure for 9.96. I pointed out the manufacturing date of 2001, but she wasn't in a negotiating mood. I got it anyway. I can always return it but may keep it for the accessory chain and pillar. Someday an updated Arena Padmé will hit the pegs.
