JTA reader Anthony D. directed our attention to a very interesting petition site to save The Clone Wars. We weren't aware of many of the details posted here. It seems as if the fate of the show is grimmer than what even we expected. Hopefully it's all not a lot of hype, but we think many of the facts are well-founded. Dear Paul,

I am a 19 year-old who has been following your website for about a year. I really appreciate the reviews of action figures, as well as the details of deals for action figures, and the general Star Wars related news. It is for the latter that I am sending you this e-mail. The fate of The Clone Wars television series is up in the air. Management has changes at Lucasfilm. The cancellations of 3D releases of the films are an example of this change in viewpoints. Now is the time to speak up about how much we love the show. Don't let the same fate that fell upon the TCW line fall upon the television series. Please advocate the petition found at this website:

Also, I have heard that letters sent through the mail to Disney on conjunction with the petition is optimal way to save our show. May the force remain strong in our show! Remember, we have to find out what happens to Ahsoka, Rex, Darth Maul, Cad Bane, and so many others.
