Well, I guess we should never say it can't get worse than it is, because it can. JTA moderator Paul B. writes in with a disturbing report. Click through to see what we uncovered.

Paul B. writes:

Paul I just wanted to let you know Movie Zeroes are now a whopping $9.96 and in 5 weeks time my store has sold a total of 4 figures with the rest rotting on shelves. If you can't sell them, mark up the price. -Paul B

OK, so Discover The Force, Movie Heroes and The Clone Wars line are all now $9.96 each. This includes all with figures that have less articulation and absolutely no availability (except for wave 1 in all situations). The kicker here? The Vintage Collection is still $8.96 each. The collector-focused line is officially cheaper than all of the "kid-focused" lines. I guess we can expect TVC to increase too. In Paul B.'s local store, they only sold 4 units of Movie Zeroes in five (5) weeks! (As noted below, that averages to 0 figures sold per week. Is it ANY wonder why no new cases of prodcut are coming in?) RIDICULOUS! Why rot on the shelves for $8.96 when you can rot for $9.96 each?! Weigh in on this madness in our comments please!
