Qui-Gon Jinn & Eopie - New Update

We have another update on the Qui-Gon Jinn & Eopie mail-away figures. It appears there must have been a load of procrastinators on the last day of the deadline of the promotion (March 31, 2010). Last we heard, Hasbro was mailing the second shipment on May 10, 2010. Now, we have received a revised postcard with a new shipping date of July 15, 2010. Man, some of us are going to have to wait a long time until we finally receive them. Click through for the updated letter!

Dear Star Wars Qui-Gon Jinn and Eopie Figure Requestor:

We have received your redemption request for the Qui-Gon Jinn and Eopie collectable figure.  We received more requests for this figure than was originally forecast, so an additional manufacturing order has been placed.  Due to this situation, we will be unable to ship your figure(s) to you until July 15th, 2010. 

If you don't want to wait until then, you may cancel your order and receive a prompt refund by calling our toll-free customer service number (800)255-5516.  Customer service hours are M-TH 8:30 - 5:00 PM; Fr 8:30 - 12:30 PM.  If we do not hear from you by March 30th, 2010, we will assume that you have agreed to this shipment delay.

The Qui-Gon Jinn with Eopie mailaway deadline was March 31, 2010, so it's too late to send away, but it looks liek those of us still waiting may not be getting these until The Vintage Collection starts to leak out!

And in related mail-away figure news, the new waves of CLONE WARS figures that are hitting retail now feature the gold foil sticker for the new Nahdar Vebb mailaway. This notice from Hasbro might serve as a clear indication that there is significant demand for the mailaway figures, so get those forms in!
