The Action Figure Quality You Get For Expensive Retail Prices

Does an example like this show us how the return of super-articulated action figures as a main line may be a complete impossibility? Does it at least make you shake your head? Sometimes seeing images like the two below help clearly illustrate just how badly things are for Star Wars collectors. Sure, that sounds dramatic, but how can action figures with only five points of articulation be set with these prices, even if the retailer is already notorious for having higher prices than normal big box retail?
