Walmart Exclusive TBS 3.75" Line Just Shy Of $15 Each At Some Locations

Goodnes gracious. The Black Series 3.75" Walmart exclusive line is doomed. (This is totally my opinion and I have nothing to back it up but I will try.) Yes, it had a very rough and dry start on Force Friday. But wave 1 started making heavy appearances throughout the weeks after FF. Then stores starting getting too much of wave 1. Now this particular store (with special thanks to JTA reader John L. for the images) has RAISED the price to $14.92 each. This is obscene. Hasbro told me at the NYCC Preview Party that Walmart knows how important this line is and how "lucky" they are to have exclusive rights to it at the moment, but this is the biggest problem with having a monopoly on the collectors' line. And we thought $12.83 was bad. Let us know if your local prices are getting jacked up too. It will be a miracle is wave 2 makes it to brick and mortar at this rate.
