Hasbro Tightens Up Awful Paint Ops On TBS Stormtrooper (#13)

I was going to post something about this observation this weekend, but I forgot. Thankfully, JTA reader Walter F. not only confirms what I have come across, but also provides photographic evidence. It appears that Hasbro is taking strides to make The Black Series Stormtrooper (#13) a little more palatable for collectors. Click through to see what we mean. Thanks for the reminder Walt!

Hey Paul,

Just wanted to shoot You all a few photos of a Black Series #13 Stormtrooper that I picked up. Now though He is not completely fixed in all directions, You can see that there has been an attempt.

Forgive the photos that I have provided but until I can obtain another or a few more for opening, He will remain carded. You can see that the black paint splotches have been removed/cleaned up. The helmets eye lens are a little better and the gray color around the helmet are a little more dressed up. Getting closer at least. Even the black trim around the brim connects better, but still not perfect. That breathing apparatus remains to be desirable. So hopefully we are seeing some steps into the right direction. Maybe there will be some hope for the Galaxy yet.
