And Another Fantastic Walgreens Store Report!

Hey JTA!

After seeing the store report this afternoon about someone finding the Proto-Fett & Vader at Walgreens, I had decided to check my local store in Orlando, FL. I didn't really expect to find the figures yet so I kinda procrastinated all day on skating over (16 year old collector with no car yet). But boy am I glad that I decided to procrastinate. As soon as I entered the store I had a feeling I was in luck. There were little mountains of boxes stacked up in aisles accompanied by employees taking things out and putting them on the shelves. As I approached the toy aisle, I saw the same thing going on. There were three Black Series 6 inch figures sitting on the peg, two Chewbaccas and a Sandtrooper. No Boba, Vader or Luke. The figures were so new that they didn't even have a price on the peg yet. I asked an employee if they had more in the back and if anybody had bought the other figures. He told me the case they got only had Sandies and Chewies. Gotta love it when the employees are too lazy to check stock and make up a story as an excuse. I didn't care though because Chewie was the one I wanted most from the wave and I only had enough on me for one figure. It rung up for $20, happy to get it for normal retail. This thing is seriously so awesome, it really hits the geek spot. I think they sculpted the perfect facial expression. It's also worth noting that both Chewbacca figures, as well as the Sandtrooper, had great paint apps. No wonky eyes on either Chewie. My only real gripe is how he holds his Bowcaster. It doesn't fit in his hand very well and it takes a lot of effort to get it held in both hands. I've included some pictures.

P.S. Don't judge me for owning a Fighter Pod. It was on clearance.
