Q: Is JTA (or JTA along with the other Force United websites) planning any sort of meet up for readers and fans in NYC during Toy Fair? (Matthew D.)

A: Because Toy Fair is an industry-only event, fans and readers of our site won't be able to gain admittance to any of the events sadly unless they're a buyer or in the media some way. It isn't a typical convention. The nice thing however is that the competing fan sites (of which most we're friends with) do get to see each other, and that is always a blast. In fact, my brother from another mother Dan Curto and I are staying in the same room. Sadly, the weather has hampered and prevented many people from arriving this year. JTA will be short-staffed and some other sites will not be able to attend at all. We would love to do something one day where we can meet some of the wonderful people who make JTA what it is, but we don't know how to accomodate everyone. We have just as many foreign readers as we do American readers. So, that makes things a bit thorny. Please keep it here, because JTA will indeed be in attendance and we have plans to get the latest and greatest news up first, likely on our Facebook page first, but thr front page ASAP.
