Hasbro Makes No Public Statement, Collectors Resolve Their Own Issues

Posted by Paul | September 24, 2013 at 08:33 AM ET

LOL! Out of desperation, retail and/or Star Wars collectors are now resorting to Yankee ingenuity to resolve the debacle of the separating card back. Look what JTA reader Brian P. has discovered at his local Walmart which ended up making the situation worse. (Does anyone else find it completely unacceptable that Hasbro has not made a public statement about this issue yet?) Click through for more.

JTA Team,

Here's a creative solution to the card back separation problem. I found this at my local Wal-Mart and it looks like an industrious employee tried to reseal this bubble using a heat gun, with less than successful results. The sad thing is that this actually caused some bending of the figure's feet and accessories. Still another weird example of what retailers are doing to remedy this situation.

Thanks!

Brian Palmer
