SDCC 2012: Speeder Bike and Scout Trooper Details

Speeder Bike and Scout Trooper

Key Points:

• The hood opens to reveal the engine.
• The back legs / foot pedals have pegs to keep figures in place, even when turning the bike upside down.
• There is a sled led piece that connects to the front underside of the bike that prevents it from drooping down when displaying it off the stand.
• The clear stand uses a cross-shaped peg that can fit the bike to display it right side up,  on its sides or upside down.
• The Biker Scout will be included in the Droid Factory line and has a newly articulated head allowing it to be posed in the proper forward-extended position.
• The Biker Scout includes a pistol and has articulation that allows the figure to be posed in a shooting position while steering with one hand.
• The tail flaps open and close, but are not tied into the legs like previous incarnations.
• There is no exploding / break-apart feature.
• The handlebars move forward and back.
• There is a cannon that attaches to the bottom of the bike that when removed, can be transformed into a standalone weapon.
• Expected on shelf October 1.
