Celebrate the legendary Star Wars trilogy that changed the universe forever, with The Original Trilogy Collection. This collection brings to life the incredible story of good versus evil that captured our imagination and took us to a galaxy far, far away. The finest recreations of the iconic Star Wars heroes and villains are back with incredible detail and premium features to commemorate each epic tale in the Original Trilogy: A New Hope, The Empire Strikes Back, and Return of the Jedi. And, as a tribute to the dedication of Star Wars fans everywhere, we are re-releasing elements of the original packaging that harken back to the creation of Star Wars action figures, which began over 25 years ago with the Original Trilogy. May the Force be with you!

Hasbro has released the most incredible version of Han Solo that they will likely never be able to beat…. ever. The “Vintage” Original Trilogy Collection Han Solo action figure is breathtaking, stunning, gorgeous, brilliant, and about a thousand other positive adjectives that don’t readily come to our minds. Han Solo is action figure making at its very best. There isn’t one little bit of room at all where we can find fault with the action figure. If Hasbro were to develop all future Star wars action figures with this miraculous quality, we probably wouldn’t whine as much as we do. Super-articulated, wonderfully painted and simply accessorized, Han Solo is a true testament that Hasbro insisted on holding nothing back when creating most of the figures in this premium collector-focused line. Although, the VOTC Han Solo action figure will be a very hard one to top. We don’t expect to see this amount of quality in every future action figure, although it would be very nice. You can forget about all of your other Episode IV Han Solo action figures. This one is king and will remain so as far as we can see. We would ultimately like to assert that Hasbro will never be able to perfect it. It’s that good.

Han Solo comes with 14 points of articulation. This is obviously the standard we expect anymore. But Han Solo has been given premium ball-jointed articulation in all of the parts that really matter. This includes ball-jointed elbows, knees and ankles to assist the collector with attaining as many unique poses as possible. Ball-jointed articulation actually has the propensity for creating an infinite array of posing options, so expect Han Solo to do whatever you ask him. While he doesn’t come with ball-jointed hips like the Luke Skywalker action figure, he does come with a great deal more flexibility than a standard action figure with swivel hips. We believe the angle that they were cut allows Han Solo a little more give and wiggle room to acquire a few extra positions that an action figure with a more straight cut wouldn’t be able to achieve. For this we are extremely thankful and do not take this offering so lightly. What’s more, Han Solo has a build a portrait that captures every last nuance of his character unmatched. The VOTC Han Solo is undeniably one of the greatest action figures Hasbro has produced. And we believe it will hold the title as a top ranking Star Wars action figures indefinitely.

Han Solo appears to have a slightly concerned look on his face. The expression is cautious yet confident if that’s possible. His stature and posture are straight and the perfect position for any action figure. It will surprise you how he can go from straight as an arrow to pretty aggressive running poses. The ankle articulation is fantastic and provides the grounding and balance need to attain some of the more action styled poses. Clearly a great deal of forethought went into Han Solo’s design and there isn’t a regret to note in the least. The paint is fantastic as well. We have heard complaints of some details missing in various parts of the figure, but to those that still found time to find fault with Han Solo we say that maybe you should find another hobby. We all want the best action figures possible, including the paint details. But sometimes tiny errors need to be ignored so you don’t miss out on enjoying one of the best made action figures of all time. If Han Solo couldn’t get any better then just look at the figure’s packaging. He comes on a classic “vintage styled” card back that harkens back to the good old days when we were kids enjoying the original Star Wars line. Han Solo is an absolute must-have. Get it no matter what the cost!
