Jedi Master Stass Allie is an experienced warrior and field agent. She is also a skilled healer and a member of the Jedi Council. Riding a BARC Speeder, Stass Allie uses her skills and the power of the Force in combat.

The identity of Stass Allie has been muddled because multiple actresses had to be used to film all of her scenes in the Prequel Trilogy. In fact, there are three unique actresses to who played and the one used on the Revenge Of The Sith promotional images of the character ended up not even being used in the film. How is that for complete and utter confusion? For that reason alone we’re steering clear talking about the inconsistencies of Stass Allie’s likeness and instead focus on the 2005 ROTS Stass Allie Deluxe figure which is a whole lot better than the credit it has received from the collecting community. As a small-scaled action figure/vehicle combination, it’s done very well, especially since the Deluxe has the kids in mind first, then collectors. But the tides have evidently been turned a bit for this release and we feel comfortable saying that there’s something for everyone here: kids and collectors. Fans of vehicles, decent play value and rare female Jedi all will be interested in this very good set.

Stass Allie has no wonky action features to speak of and quite frankly neither does her BARC Speeder. She comes with a limited eight points of articulation, but has points (and a sculpt) that works interactively with the included BARC Speeder “accessory”. She comes with a ball-socket head joint which works nicely when posing her on the vehicle. Although she comes with swivel shoulders, her wrists have been articulated as well and she is able to grasp onto the handlebars without any issues whatsoever. Hasbro made a great compromise in the way her legs have been sculpted. While off of the BARC Speeder, she can stand up in a straight manner without looking “silly” and instead looks somewhat natural. Yet, with only 2 swivel hips for leg articulation she can be seated on the BARC Speeder and look quite screen accurate. The interaction of figure and vehicle here is almost a perfect marriage! And it works better than figured that come with even more articulation.

Sadly, Stass Allie comes without any accessories except for the included BARC Speeder. It seems that at the very least Hasbro could have included a lightsaber. It would have made the most sense (to us at least) to do this. Her sculpt is better than fair and her proportions are essentially perfect. One thing that most people aren’t aware of is that Stass Allie came with two unique eye colors. This is a small variation, but it does exist. Early shipments of this set had her with brown eyes (almost solid pupils). But later releases clearly show a violet iris surrounding her pupils. We have included photos of both versions in our photo gallery in this review, but please know it’s very difficult to see unless you have both versions side by side in your hands. It’s a variation that wasn’t widely reported, but we promise you it exists. Definitely one of the better Deluxe figures in the Revenge Of The Sith line, we suggest finding one for your collection.
