Nine (9) months ago we brought you the very first online report of The Vintage Collection wave 4 figures being found at Five Below stores. While the stock has sold through for the most part, we have just received a report from JTA Robert V. from Maryland that his local store has restocked on this very same wave! If you still need these figures (hard to believe at this point), be sure to head out to this discount chain!

OK, here is something very interesting. As an update to our Movie Heroes "Where's Anakin?" post yesterday, JTA reader Mats J. writes in from Sweden to let us know of a pre-order at German site The Toy Palace. Not only is the Anakin Skywalker figure included in this wave assortment, it also includes the Sandtrooper and Boba Fett figures shown in Hasbro's recent Power Point presentation. (And we think that's the new Battle Droid figure too, but we're not 100% sure about that.) What is especially odd is that online etailers like Entertainment Earth do not even have this item up for pre-order, which is due on October 31st! Click through to see this proof yourself. Well, after years of mass confusion, Lucasfilm has officially deemed the original vintage Kenner Lumat as the ACTUAL Lumat character! We try to spell it all out, but even we got confused over all the Ewoks that throughout the years that have been referred to as Lumat. Thank goodness something from the 80s has stuck! My longtime pal and relatively new (me not him) esteemed colleague Adam Pawlus is responsible for spearheading a few incredible things for Star Wars collectors (except for the Skittles-colored Mandalorians and "Booba" Fetts which I have already forgiven him for - love ya Adam) and now he is reaching out to the collecting community to see if maybe the ball can get rolling for a vintage Kenner action figure (that is next to impossible - and much too expensive - to buy for your collection) can be modernized. This is another store find that almost made me collapse in the aisle. While nearly tempted to the point of destruction to cave in and buy this figure on Amazon.com for $35+, I found him just moments ago while looking for Ewoks and AT-ST Drivers instead.... I didn't find the latter, so this made the trip worthwhile!

We perhaps neglected to pay attention to the best item on sale this week at TARGET! The Darth Maul Returns exclusive Battle Packs set (as well as the general release ones) is also on sale for $18.00! It's a smaller savings, but this means each figure will only cost you $6.00, proof that Hasbro can manage two new figures and a repack and make it VERY worthwhile for collectors. (And one of those figures is even super-articulated!) It's all a matter of where there's a will, there's a way.

Our friends at JediDefender.com are reporting that The Vintage Collection Kmart exclusive two-packs have been found. What's maddening for me is that my local store shows 8 pieces in stock yet not one clerk can find them! Ugh! Good luck to everyone out there!
