Making yet another update tonight to our 2005 Toy Fair Coverage, we have added Gentle Giant to the list. Gentle Giant did not allow pictures to be taken, but, they did supply us with a CD-Rom with some pictures. I decided to do the commentary with the pictures all at once, thus the reason it has taken a little longer for us to get Gentle Giant images up.
Gentle Giant has quite a bit on tap this year, I am sure there will be more coming as well, especially seeing this is a movie year. Many Thanks to the folks at Gentle Giant for having us! Also many thanks for the free Boba Fett Bust-Up they gave out, you can check that out in the our coverage! Click on the image below to take a look!

At the LEGO V.I.P. Gala Event, they had a team from Eidos showing off the yet to be released Lego Star Wars Video Game. We were allowed to play the game and watch as others demo'ed it. I have to say it was a pretty darn cool little game. The graphics were cool, and kept with the look of the Lego Mini-Figs that so many like.
The Eidos/LEGO team made a CD-Rom Press kit available for the Gala. This CD-Rom is rich with Hi-Res Images. I have compiled the Images here for our readers viewing pleasure! Click On the Logo below!

Gala Event. that being their Darth Vader Transformation (#7251) set. The set itself is the same that will be on the store shelves this April. However, what makes this special is that the set is incased in a special 2005 V.I.P. Gala Case! From what I understand there were only around 55 of these made for the event. Very Cool indeed!!

Well, one of the perks of trekking to NYC for Toy Fair, and the long hours of covering and posting the coverage for the events is the SWAG. A couple of years ago, Hasbro handed out the first round of Toy Fair Vaders to attendees of their exhibit, this year I think they outdid themselves.
This year they incorporated the upcoming Episode 3 movie into the press release kit, and what we got is an awesome Collectible. The Press Kit Features figures that will be available later this year when the E3 line is released. When in it's closed position the press kit has a picture of Anakin, with the caption "A young Jedi named Anakin Skywalker was seduced by the dark side of the Force...". In the bubble is encased an E3 Anakin figure. However, when you open the flap to take the press kit notes out, the figure in the bubble rotates and on the other side is an E3 Darth Vader figure! The art on the opened flap is of Vaders Helmet above molten lava.
Check out the pics below:

The first in the series is Darth Vader and he stands just under 2 inches (5cm). He is finely detailed and painted and weighs in heavier than your standard preview Wookie Warrior! The figure comes with a 20 page booklet that gives you some background information on the Dark Lord. This first installment of the figures costs just 3.99 Euro (about $5.25)
Additonal figures can be bought by purchasing the subscription and then 2 additional figures will arrive each month at your door for just 10 Euro.

Our good friends over at Sandtroopers.com

Trooper Darth Spice was able to attend the show and speak with Mr. Ross. Also, for those attending Celebration 3, Mr. Ross will be performing there for all the fans.

Our good friends over at BeJedi.com have been hard at work adding more content to their site and they wanted you to know all the good stuff that has been going on.
They have posted the interview with Iain Lowson
(the principal writer for the Wars Facts Files by De Agostini). Iain is the first in a series of interviews that they’ll be doing with people who are working with or around the Star Wars phenomenon.
Second, they have added a feature that they hope to be of service to the international fan community by opening a Convention Roster
. In this new section, we will collect information about conventions we know about so that you can check for conventions in your area and learn when they will be held and which guest stars will attend.
Thirdly and lastly, they want to draw your attention to their contribution to charity on the upcoming Star Force event. They will auction off a number of autographs from Star Wars actors, ranging from common to some pretty rare and hard-to-get ones. While the auction will be held on the actual Star Force event, there is a way for fans outside Belgium to put a bid. To learn how that works, refer to this page
