Vintage Carded Visual Guide Open

Posted by Chuck | December 24, 2004 at 01:23 AM EDT |

Continuing our onslaught of new guides, we have opened a guide to help vintage collectors make a little sense of the hundreds of available styles of vintage carded figures. While this guide doesn't show all of the possible variations for each card, it does show all available US and Trilogo versions that each figure was released on.
With the addition of this guide, we also made a slight change to our navigation menu. The vintage link has now be sub-divided so you can click through to either our loose guide or our MOC guide. You will also find a quick-link at the top of each guide that will take you to its loose/MOC companion guide.
A special thanks to Rik Biel for all of his contributions to the guide from his personal collection!

New Jedi Temple Poll Starts Today

    Posted by Mike | December 14, 2004 at 01:25 AM EDT |

We start a new Jedi Temple Poll today, and the new questions is, "Should Episode III figures be a line by themselves, or should they be mixed with figures from other movies"?
With the results from the last poll in, we find that the Jar Jar hating still continues. The last poll asked, "Who do you think will be the first Jedi to die in Episode 3"? This time we got over 200 votes in, and it was a landslide, people want to see Jar Jar go, even over caring what Jedi gets wiped out first. Poor Jar Jar!

  • Jar Jar Binks - 81 Votes
  • Mace Windu - 52 Votes
  • Shaak Ti - 40 Votes
  • Saesee Tiin - 32 Votes
  • Plo Koon - 27 Votes

    Posted by Mike | December 01, 2004 at 08:50 PM EDT |

ACPin has come through with 3 more custom Lego creations:

Rescue Mission – The protocol droid C3-PO seeks out Han to inform him that Luke has not returned to the base. To find his friend, Han sets out on a Tauntaun in the Hoth's snowy wastes, heedless of the dropping temperatures, which is likely to kill him..

Command Center – The nerve center of Echo Base was its darkened command center where alliance scanner operators carefully monitored incoming data from the scattered sensors placed by Rebel scouts in the Hoth wilderness.

RHAAT – The Republic Heavy Armored Artillery Tank was one of the first in the series of larger and more imposing armored vehicles that the Grand Army of the Republic built as a much more versatile craft to overcome the immense firepower of the Separatist ground vehicles.
