We Told You He Was All-New Since Day One - Here Is Your Proof

Posted by Paul | June 30, 2015 at 11:50 PM EDT |

[sarcasm] For those of you who have been in denial since it was revealed, like my good friend Rum Sleg believed, that the Jabba's Rancor Pit Jabba The Hutt is NOT an all-new figure, well, we can direct you to unequivocal proof that this is true now. GalacticHunter.com has comparison shots of the 2010 Jabba versus the ALL-NEW 2015 Jabba The Hutt. You're welcome. [/sarcasm] (We say this all with a smile.)

UPDATE: This post is sarcasm and humorously in good fun directed to longtime JTA friend Rum Sleg with whom I had an entertaining back and forth with whether or not this Jabba was new. Some have taken offense to it, so apologies if that applies. I honestly don't jibe anyone that I don't genuinely like and respect. Please don't take our posts so seriously. Instead, rejoice that we have an all-new Jabba!

Our "Rumor Report" On The Black Series 6" Now Confirmed!

Posted by Paul | June 28, 2015 at 12:08 PM EDT |

We told you the proof of our BREAKING NEWS report was forthcoming almost a week ago.... and here it is. We feel this newly confirmed information should definitely affect how you vote for The Black Series 6" Fans' Choice poll. Of course nothing is 100% until confirmed by Hasbro, but this is the next best thing. As you can see, "CW Captain" does NOT have the same product number as Clone Commander Cody and we can't imagine ANYTHING else being called "Episode III Gene" other than General Grievous. C-3PO and Jango Fett are obviously self-explanatory. Lastly, while we were hoping for a Clone Commander or Clone Lieutenant, the Episode II Clone Trooper in this list has the same product number as the Clone Trooper Captain. Click the image for all of the juicy tidbits. Out of respect to our source, we blacked out information that could possibly spill too much information. By the way, we have no idea what Black Series 6 Inch Figure with product code A4301 could be since A4301 is the assortment number for this entire line.

You might be tired of Sideshow's clones like we are, but we have to admit that ARC Clone Trooper: Echo (Phase II Armor) is incredible and a perfect template for future ARC troopers from The Clone Wars television show. See this beautiful figure in our Research Droids Reviews today. Be sure to leave your own thoughts in our comments section, vote in the poll or even leave comments about it on our Facebook page. Click the banner below for the direct link to the review! As always, you can also send your own personal review requests via email if you'd like to see something that we didn't cover yet.

Tell Us How You Feel About The Hasbro Fans' Choice TBS6 Poll!

Posted by Paul | June 27, 2015 at 12:09 PM EDT |

We've been in overdrive organizing this poll that we haven't even opened up a discussion about your thoughts on it. While some of you have directly voted your disdain for this Fans' Choice Poll (midichlorians was a choice,so was "why isn't there a 3.75" poll?"), we thought we'd publish a second article for you to address, complain or just generally talk about this history changing Fan's Choice poll. On your mark, get set, GO!

Hasbro And Other Licenses Present At Tokyo Toy Show

Posted by Paul | June 25, 2015 at 07:47 AM EDT |

The Tokyo Toy Show is underway and Hasbro has a presence there. Japanstarwars.com is covering thr show. Don't worry, nothing new has been shown yet (if at all), but you may want to keep checking back during the event to see if anything new gets revealed there. Of particular note, Bandai has a pretty incredible presence there so you may want to check out what they're offering. Is it just us, or is it painful to see Hasbro's 3.75" Chopper figure on display as if he is available or something?

Posted by Paul | June 24, 2015 at 01:10 AM EDT |

Review: Darth Maul - R - Hero Series (12-Inch Figure)

Posted by Paul | June 20, 2015 at 01:10 AM EDT |

The Hero Series Darth Maul 12-Inch Figure is surprisingly very nice. It has an excellent likeness, even better paint operations and extra accessories for kids to allow them to actually "play" with the figure. Too bad its widespread fate is still unknown.
