Review: AT-TE (All Terrain Tactical Enforcer) - TCW [F/S1] - Vehicle

Posted by Paul | November 21, 2014 at 12:15 AM EDT |

The year 2008 brought us the very first phase of the long-running The Clone Wars line. And would you believe after all of these years we totally blew over the AT-TE (All Terrain Tactical Enforcer) vehicle from that line in our reviews? Now that we're on a roll celebrating Hasbro's rich Star Wars action figure history, we decided to focus our 2,008th review on this missed vehicle. See this behemoth in our Research Droids Reviews today. Be sure to leave your own thoughts in our comments section, vote in the poll or even leave comments about it on our Facebook page. Starting Today In FlashBack Reviews!

Posted by Paul | November 19, 2014 at 08:57 AM EDT |

As wonderful as it is to reflect back on the modern Hasbro Star Wars line since its inception in 1995, there was one period of time that had changed our collecting minds forever. It's now time to "FlashBack" to an era we wish we all could return to because it was the greatest collection of figures Hasbro had ever put together for us. Because of this collection, the collecting community had never been happier, nor more invested in what Hasbro was doing at the time. It had its bumps and bruises, but overall was a success. And it brought back people who stopped collecting years earlier. Hasbro says they'd love to return to it one day, but very few of us are patient enough to wait to see if this comes to pass. So we will show our love and support for the greatest Star Wars basic figure line ever created by revisiting it one by one in our FlashBack Reviews. We knew you were waiting for this and now is the time. And we've made you wait long enough. The first FlashBack Review in this collection starts today!

We continue to plug along celebrating Hasbro's rich Star Wars action figure history. We have reached review 2,006 and that means it's time for an item from The Saga Collection. So let's look at George Lucas (In Stormtrooper Disguise) which was an Ultimate Galactic Hunt mail-away exclusive. We bet you never expected this action figure, but look at that stunning head sculpt! It's the topic of our Research Droids Reviews today. Be sure to leave your own thoughts in our comments section, vote in the poll or even leave comments about it on our Facebook page. Click the banner below for the direct link to the review! As always, you can also send your own personal review requests via email if you'd like to see something that we didn't cover yet.

Hasbro Tapes Them, Hasbro Tapes Them Not....

Posted by Paul | November 18, 2014 at 12:46 PM EDT |

The reports of "taped" and "not taped' The Black Series [Phase II] store reports are all over the map. We received some of the earliest production figures out of China and none of ours had tape attached. Then I found some at TARGET that had tape. Now JTA reader Hunk of Junk found "without tape" figures at TRU. So it looks like this is hit or miss and who knows why we're even still having these troubles after Bubblegate.

Review: Anakin's Jedi Starfighter - ROTS - Vehicle

Hasbro Releases New Press Images Of Deluxe And Basic TBS6

Posted by Paul | November 14, 2014 at 02:50 PM EDT |

Hasbro has released press images of upcoming The Black Series 6" Deluxe and basic figures. Check them out on our Facebook page. Images for the Wampa/Luke, Tauntaun/Han Solo, Bossk, and Han Stormtrooper are shown.

Be careful what you wish for! Perhaps the community referring to Hasbro 12" figures as shampoo bottles has given licensees ideas for new personal care products. It's like a nightmare folks! Look what JTA reader LesDudis found at his local Walmart. At least this company isn't trying to pawn them off as toys! (Click through for his report and click the thumb for a closer look at the image.)
