Research Droids Reviews Under Construction! Update #2

JTA's Research Droids Reviews are Under Construction! August is a far way off for all the new product and while we will continue to present you with a new review each day, we decided to "spiffy up" some of our older reviews by adding new photo galleries and new edits of the reviews as well as other collector-friendly notes. This latest update focuses on wave 2 of The Legacy Collection which is a rich collection of characters based from Tartakovsky's original Clone Wars micro-series. Be sure to spend some time and check out the hard work we're doing for you behind the scenes. We will be doing periodic updates of our older reviews until we're done, so keep checking back with us. Found! New Walmart Exclusive Comic Packs! $14.88 Each!

New Bar Codes On Carry Forward Figures (Wave 12)

When we found the remix case of Legacy Collection's The Empire Strikes Back wave at Walmart this morning, we noticed and interesting move by Hasbro that the figures each have a unique new bar code sticker affixed over the bar code on the figure's insert. The numbers are different than the Blockbuster Value! sets stickers. We're not entirely sure what is going on here, but wanted to pass the news along to you.

Found! Legacy Collection Remix Wave 12 At Walmart!

We found the remix case of Legacy Collection's The Empire Strikes Back wave at Walmart this morning. It's true that Willrow Hood, R2-X2 and Episode V Concept Art Snowtrooper are all axed from the case, but click through to see which carry-forward figures come with new HK-50 droid parts.

Do you believe that a great paint job can make a 10 year old figure look like a figure made with today's technology? It's true. The Watto/R2-T0 Droid Factory set from the 30 (77-07) line made a figure from 1999 look like a figure from 2008 and his companion droid was nothing to sneeze at either.
