How is Walmart going to be the new “Toys R Us” when they can’t even get out a single Star Wars exclusive from Hasbro? Well, maybe they won’t be able to achieve this business goal. Or maybe something will drastically change with their protocols so it can become a possibility. We have learned something shocking about one of Walmart’s exclusives and received an update on another. I apologize for the intrusion, but there is once again a problem with Walmart and their exclusive franchise for Star Wars figures. Please see the link below for more details, but in short there is a potential huge stumbling block to the success of the newly relaunched TVC Line.
Walmart has been given license to exclusively sell two highly desired TVC figures,Island Rey and Mimban Stormtrooper. It seems that that Hasbro’s own Steve Evans has publicly stated that these have already been shipped but there is no sign of the figures in Walmart’s own system. I think even the Hasbro panel at SDCC said these were slated for release this past Spring. What is even funnier is that I have bought both figures from scalpers in Europe and the US that are not Walmart.
Is there any chance that this issue can be investigated by [redacted]. many TVC collectors would love to buy these figures, but there is no real sight of these anywhere.

We looked into your recent inquiry about inventory at Walmart and discovered:
E2490 SW Black Series 6” Mimban Figure. This item is on order, and should be hitting Walmart Stores on/around 10/1.
E2261 SW Black Series [The Vintage Collection – same product # as the TVC figure] 3.75” Rey – Will not be available at Walmart, but should be able to be found at Entertainment Earth this Fall.

Editor’s Note: It’s clear that based on the customer’s original question that Hasbro’s corporate office misunderstood what Stormtrooper (Mimban) figure he/she was asking about here. So, the fate of The Vintage Collection Stormtrooper (Mimban) figure either has either been converted to an EE exclusive too, or that is coming in the fall at Wlamart like the 6″ is. We should also note that there have already been a couple of TBS6 [P3] Stormtrooper (mimban) Walmart store reports documented already, so the bulk may come out before 10/1.What’s written above came from Hasbro, not a Walmart employee or someone else lower on the retail chain.
