MY question is how does this guy get multiple loose figures like this???

    • ARC-77

      Probably straight from the factory..

      • ShipGirlLover

Yup. I know a guy at a toy show I go to who has hundreds of new loose Star Wars and Marvel Legends figures for dirt cheap.

        • HAVE YOU SMELT IT

He was selling the pegwarmers from build a figure sets and multipacks he scalped up early in the scalping game.

The reject dumpster is probably his pay as a manager.

    • Rivesjunctionite

We’ve wondered that for years. Good source, though.

    • It’s a Hasbro trade secret. It’s one of the few ways they can get figures into collectors’ hands.

    • Mother_Talzin

I’ve ordered a couple figures in previous years, and the deco was off on them, so like many have speculated – they are probably factory rejects. So long as they are obtained legally, its a good way to get loose figures. However, if they’re being taken by other means, the price is passed on to Hasbro, and then to us. Perhaps this is why Hasbro has complained about the price of plastic going up? lol

    • HAVE YOU SMELT IT

They’re definitely rejects. So LOOK CLOSELY before you buy.

  • $12.99 for 5poa is not ok.

  • Rivesjunctionite

Since I’m going to get the playset, I’ll pass.
I just got my TBS3.75 TLJ figures in the mail from him on Monday. Thanks for the tip, JTA!

    • You didn’t buy them from Walmart?

      • Rivesjunctionite

        Ha ha, you so funny.
I would have, of course, but WM doesn’t seem to want to sell their exclusives.

        • I didn’t realize distribution was nonexistent where you live also.

          • Rivesjunctionite

When I heard reports of these hitting stores, I checked Brickseek, and only 10% of stores had them nationwide. Crazy…

curious what did u get? Quality?..been contemplating buying from him

      • Rivesjunctionite

I’m happy with them. They came quickly. They look great. The price was even decent. Usually tunghori charges $20 or $30 for first run TBS3.75, but these were close to the retail price. I couldn’t pass them up.

      • Jerry’s Finger

I’ve bought about two dozen figures from him and have always been very happy.

  • Danny P.

    Scored one this time, thanks

  • Brian J.

I expect the eventual SA Snoke to be a nice sculpt with really billowy soft good robes that look silly (See Also: Maybe SA jedi soft good robes), so I just opted to buy this one instead because of the sharp and tidy robe sculpting.

    • Hazzbro Jonez

ill take soft goods over no knees any day of the week, all week long all weeks of the month all months of the year and so on.

  • Brian

Does anyone else think it is odd that he never got the Scarif Trooper SA in stock?

    • mechabug

Lol I was thinking the same thing earlier. I swear there is a warehouse somewhere filled to the brim with them. I’m a pretty hardcore hunter and never once saw this figure east of I-95 in NC.

    • DarthXit

      He did…I bought one

    • We posted that stock alert multiple times last year.

  • Coleman Miller

Got him!!! Just a reminder to always check JTA everyday! Especially on your lunch hour

  • This is back in his stock now, managed to snag one this time around 😀
