Tung ‘s prices are to high anymore. I have a feeling I will get this Snoke and the playset for cheap…..

    • LOL. You’re probably right. 🙂

    • Hazzbro Jonez

      yea they have gone up…..

      • darthmadonna

yeah I mean 15 bucks for the TBS 3.75 Luke loose. Most of the TVC figures are 12 or higher. I used to like his shop for getting cheap loose army builders but now he is asking retail and shipping. I guess someone must be buying for him to raise the prices.

        • JohnMorog

There are several hard to find figures that are still at decent prices, but the shipping is what gets me. It makes it hard for me to buy cause I’m forced to buy more than one figure and I can’t really afford that, but I also can’t afford $5 shipping on one figure.

sold out….wow…. praetorian guard when fast too

  • darthmadonna

This made it’s rounds on Twitter and I am surprised how quickly this 5POA figure sold for 12.99 plus another 5 for shipping. Hmm people must like 3.75″ figures even with 5POA.

    • Brian Beck

I think it has more to do with it being a ‘rare exclusive’ of sorts, and to have it. Plus not every collector has the JTA mentality of :

      • How does Bantha Skull get away with all of the 6″ digs?

        • Brian Beck

? I don’t know or care, I’m not a member there, too busy enjoying what I have-which is 3.75 5 poa and SA and 6″, and budget stuff,(with nerf and without) and……. 🙂

        • Jimmy Griffin

          Never heard of ’em.

          • No one has.

          • Jimmy Griffin

            Who is this?

          • You’re clearly spending too much time in that rat hole. I think am going to have to institute of curfew for JTA readers going off of the reservation. I am very territorial of my readers, you know.

          • Jimmy Griffin

LLOL (The extra L is for literally, because I think a lot of people type LOL when in truth there was no audible laughter.)

        • They love the 6” line, and that shows in all their posts, you get a warm felling reading every post… Love is the answer 😀

      • darthmadonna

LOL I agree on the mentality bit. As for me yes I railed against 5 POA however I have changed my mind over the last couple of years. I gave 6″ a try, didn’t like it but now I don’t want anything to do with it. I have also given 5 poa a try and I give Hasbro credit. Their 5 poa line has improved every year. Anymore I just see and stand by 3.75″ whether it is TVC or 5POA.

        • Brian Beck

I’m newer to collecting (this stuff) so I don’t have an option either way, I had the ‘early bird’ Kenner thing as a child, and a lot of those toys, so 5poa brings back those memory’s, and I don’t mind it.

        • ShipGirlLover

The 5POA head sculpts blow away the SA Walmart versions. Which is sad.

      • Darth_Rizzen

In this case the JTA mentality does have some merit, though: ????

I just love the palpable puzzlement, or even dismay, from the Praetorians in this shot. Great pose! ????

    • Did I get called an “ageist” or some other “ist” on Twitter for posting this?

      • darthmadonna

I thought you didn’t have twitter? The ones I saw posted were by others people not fan sites. But no there were no snarky comments on the tweets I saw.

        • I don’t. That’s what makes it so enjoyable for me. They think I actually see those comments. 🙂

  • Darth_Rizzen

I’m more interested in the upcoming SA Snoke, to be honest.

I did pick up extra 3.75″ SA FO Stormtroopers, I needed some grunts. ????

  • James

5POA was awesome in 1996. POTF type stuff. Nowadays SA all the way please.

  • mechabug

Mmmmmm….7.99 for VC45. So tempting. Always need moar!

  • Coleman Miller

Snoke is gone, but has some great deals on other figures. Eyeing the CW Aayla & a few others.

  • BlueSaber

I was one who sold my Snoke pack in for $110! I still can’t believe the hype for that figure, it was an awesome sculpt, but I’m saving his throne for the inevitable 3.75″ SA version, not to mention, you KNOW they will eventually release him on a single card. I made most of my money back on the playset by ditching the guard and Snoke in a pair with the Force Link (already had one from the Kylo set) so it made the playset so much more worth it for me.

Out of curiosity, what was the Tung Snoke going for?

    • $12.99

      • BlueSaber

Def. not terrible for those that can’t wait for the future releases.

  • ShipGirlLover

Only Hasbro would be so dumb to give waves of slight repaints for the movie and save new, unique sculpts like Snoke and Praetorian Guards and female A-Wing pilots fir exclusive pack-ins.

People probably buy Finn if hes in his FO disguise and not almost the same as the one from TFA.

  • Mother_Talzin

I wonder why this figure isn’t in the basic or 2-pack line? Considering how much they’re promoting him in the trailers with voiceovers and even his appearance, you’d think a figure of him would be on pegs. I imagine the majority of kids wont be buying the playset or 6 inch figure…

    • 80sRobot

      The simple answer: Hasbro.

  • Imperial AMG-mobile

    awesome… more 5 POA garbage

  • Danny P.

Missed it this time but thanks for the heads up

  • MisterJackpot

As with the $20 black series 6″ Darth Maul’s, this is likely a knock off produced in a toy factory in the dead of night. Not saying don’t buy it, just a heads up that the seller likely didn’t discard hundreds of $150 BB8 playsets to sell you a $12 figure. The knockoff black series figures have been great though so go nuts!
