SW [TLJ] Baze Malbus/Chirrut Imwe Two-Packs Set Up For Pre-order!

If you’re interested, the Baze Malbus/Chirrut Imwe Force Link Two-Packs set is up for pre-order on Amazon with December 15th availability. This is the only way to get the talking versions of these characters! The accessories look repainted as well. And I am sure the figures are new from a certain point of view as well. Special thanks to JTA reader Scott M. for the alert!

Hope these two get a SA version in TVC. I’d take TBS 3.75″ even.

    • Hazzbro Jonez

hasbro HAS to realize that making TVC/SA versions of the rest of the R1 staff would be divine….and we would buy all of them! i know i would.

        Me and You both.

        We’d throw money at them.

  • I’m torn. I want the better accessories for Chirrut, but I really don’t want to get these 5poa figures again, even if they do talk.
Why does Baze have Blain Cooper’s gun? Does it make him a sexual tyrannosaurus, too?

  • General Hux

I just want Chirrut’s bow-rifle…Ugh! Guess I’ll comit the worst kind if crime and wait for clearance when these are dirt cheap.

    • CadeSky

That’s right…that weapon wasn’t with the original release, was it? I can’t justify buying these guys again…but let’s be honest, this is what the two pack should have been back when RO came out! I thought it was really weird how Baze never got a single-carded release.

      • Bekim

Yeah, I wonder why Baze didn’t get a carded relesde but Lt. Sefla did.I had to look Sefla up after I saw his fig.

        • CadeSky

Yeah, no way around it…that’s a headshaker!

        • Darth Eddie

And Lt. Sefla didn’t even make it into most stores. I certainly never saw him on the pegs, nor his wavemates Galen Erso, Admiral Raddus and Fenn Rau.

          • Bekim

That is correct. Somehow, I managed to find the majority of the Rogue One collection in Ross for quite the discount. But that wave never made it to proper, non-discount stores. I ended up buying that wave (minus Sefla) online. My 12 week-old son will have the entire Rogue One collection waiting for him when he gets old enough. Its my way of distracting him from getting his hands on my MOC Vintage Collection! Lol!

WTF! Release these 2 in TVC for Spring! Hasbro, hire me and I will fix everything.
You’ll be making money hand over fist!

  • Rykrof_Enloe

Let’s see the TVC incarnations Hasbro, then I’ll buy (multiples of each).

Paint jobs look to be improved somewhat, at least (WHY can’t they mold Baze’s head in flesh tone, and paint the hair- at least in the R1 release, the paint on the face was so thick, it muddled the facial details, and made him look more like Chumlee from Pawn Stars…). As they were my favorite R1 characters, I’m hoping for TVC releases sooner than later, but for now, slightly improved decos and a crossbow that isn’t a massive projectile launcher are worth the $14.99 to me.

  • Honestly, HOW can he hold that big ole gun with one hand?

  • John Morin

Hasbro, Please release the Walmart 3.75 from the Vintage Collection. We’ve waited long enough already. If you want to entice us to buy, why not give us a burnt down Darth Vader Helmet or a First Order Flag. Give the Death Trooper his extra gun. We need some accessories for the figures. Also you should make these figures into the Wave 2 1. Snoke 2. Dr. Aphra 3. Tank Pilot 4. Rebel Hoth Trooper 5. Captain Rex Us Collectors want Troopers mostly for Army building.

  • Jimmy Griffin

Every time I see this 2 pack, I think “I already have these, give them to us in SA form!”

  • Darth Eddie

“I am one with the sales gimmick and the sales gimmick comes with me….”
