New Amazon Product Listing Shows 2018 Availability For New Figures

According to a new product listing on Amazon, it appears that the next wave of Star Wars [The Last Jedi] figures could have a release date as late as February 2018. This is strange because we heard that this wave should be right around the corner from arriving at retail. But who knows what’s really going on with distribution such a mess. Thanks to JTA reader Bryan L. for directing us to this listing.

Interesting how the names of the figures are translated on the package into very similar sounding names, but the lengthy choking hazard is only in English.

I don’t think a 3rd party seller in-stock date means much. I’ve noticed this quite a bit on Amazon. Fenn Rau for instance has an in-stock date of February 28th which doesn’t seem to match up with anything that we know of. EE gets him in December right?

    • Rivesjunctionite

Yup. Amazon will have individual listings for each figure. That case sale is just PigglyToyville’s listing.

  • Kalzeth

More amazon! Itโ€™s great to buy from them when third parties arenโ€™t marking it up

  • Seronious

Yeah, that’s the instock date of a 3rd party seller. They usually post a date further out than when the stock is scheduled to arrive that way they CTA.

Regardless, this wave is such a bore. Ill pick up the DJ and Leia, but who needs another rey, r2, or jyn? The luke is a maybe.

  • Wave 3 speculation:

    Captain Phasma

    Supreme Leader Snoke (With throne?)

    Vice-Admiral Amelyn Holdo

    Finn (First Order Uniform)

    Poe Dameron (Han Solo Gear)

    Admiral Ackbar

    • Honorable mention: Nein Nunb to appease posters on here by the name of Bmales.

More likely Rose Tico in First Order Uniform though.

He’s not the only one obsessed with the best Sullustan pilot ever. ๐Ÿ™‚

    • Littlegreenwiseguy

We should call him “Poe Solo” since he appears to be raiding Han’s closet. ๐Ÿ˜‰

      • Brian Palmer

It looks like Finn got some of Han’s clothes, too. I think Leia must have cleaned out Han’s closet and had a huge yard sale at the Resistance base. ๐Ÿ™‚

      • RumDumb

        I prefer Han Poe Lo

      • Seronious

Maybe during Han’s funeral he sneaks on the Millennium Falcon and steals Han’s old clothes.

  • Hardcore F’n Mudd

A real drab looking line up.
    Needs a bit more colour!
I hope theres a scene in Episode 8 where Luke says “Before we go, let me change into my horrible brown outfit”

  • Aric

Im passing on jyn because of spite.

  • ActionFigureSupplies

EE has Luke Jedi Exile down for a November release but no info on the others.

  • Brian Beck

    $81 + $16 to ship 7 figures, or….
    $99 + $0 to ship 12 figures from EE

  • Josuethefanboy_7

It’s mostlikely due to spoilers but I’ll definetly get DJ, I now know why his character is very mysterious.

  • CadeSky

I feel pretty certain that these will be around in stores before the movie’s release. With TFA I remember being pretty busy as a collector during the month of November.

  • Super Amigo

What uninspired, drab, monochromatic, unremarkable, repetitive costume designs the latest Star Wars movies have, Leia being the one glaring exception here.

I’d give her an ornate, Ep4 reminiscent silver belt, though.

  • CT-7567

Paul, did you see the listing for the two-packs? Rosewith BB droids and the Baze and Chirrut set have a release date of March 1, 2018. I would think the Solo stuff would be hitting by then.

    • Brian Beck

      EE has them listed December.

  • GIBBS v2

That makes sense, release toys almost 2 months after the film has come and gone. And only 3 months before Han Solo. Peg warmers by design I guess.

  • Rykrof_Enloe

    TVC can’t return soon enough

  • Brian J.

Leia, DJ, and Luke for me from this wave. The other three are too similar to figures I already own. If the poncho didn’t look like a potato sack on Rey, I might be tempted.
