TBS6 Kylo Ren (Unmasked) Relegated To Add-On Status On Amazon

Amazon is trying hard to get rid of their abundance of stock of the Kylo Ren (Unmasked) six-inch figure. This figure has dropped so low it’s now relegated as an add-on item. Click here for the $4.99 TBS6 Kylo Ren…

3.75″ one – impossible to find. 6″ one – relegated to add on status. Hmmmm

So has Sgt. Jyn Erso and Cassian (blue coat version). I just bought the last Jyn at the $7 price.

The new kylo with added scar should sell like crazy!

  • Flametrooper too is under $5 as an add on.

  • But TFA made Star Wars the best it’s ever been. This is an impossibility. Fake News! I won’t believe it. I just won’t!

It has :P. Toys don’t really represent the quality of a film. Almost every attempt at an Indiana Jones figure line has been an utter failure for example.

  • Fire JJ Make SW Great Again!

One of the things I least look forward to in TLJ is staring at Driver’s Joe Camel face for 2 straight hours. I mean look at Billie Lourd, She’s no slouch in the looks department and her Father was no prize. It really stretches believability even in SW that Harrison Ford and Carrie Fisher in their prime would have such a sub-par looking son.

Not only that but Natalie and Hayden were pretty good looking too in spite of their lack of acting ability and I’m sure Pernella August was in her youth as well. So the chances of Han and Leia having such weird looking offspring is pretty low on a genetic basis.

    • That’s because Kylo Ren is really Luke & Leia’s retarded incest baby!

You heard it here folks! (My girlfriend from Canada’s dad who works at Lucasfilm told me himself, so I know it’s true.)

Can you imagine how cheap this would be of the 6″ line wasn’t such a smashing success?

It is weird that they clearance something and then regulate it. Are they trying to stop scalpers. Why would they care at this point. I just bought some toys for my kids and got 4 Star Wars figures at Hasbro toy shop 3 at $2.69 and they only let you get 10 items. I was pissed as I had 12 items and they just pull 2 and push through the order. Now I have to wait for 10 days to get my sons Jurassic park dinosaur and my daughters frozen toy. If there was an alrert I would not have bought the extra TFA armour up flame trooper at $2.09 or the $2 nerf darts for my daughters gun. It would have been nice Hasbro to know before placing my order. Hasbro probably pushed through what they have an abundance off on my order. Watch my other items sell out in 10 days. They should not regulate the clearance and just let people buy what they want as much as they want and get rid of the stuff.

I’m not sure if I am understanding what you’re talking about with “regulation,” but Amazon does the add-on item thing to bring down its shipping costs. If they are charging $5 for a $20 figure, they are taking a loss already, so they won’t just ship it by itself (the next step would be for them to pay people to buy it lol).

That’s what you get when the casual fan is not interested in buying a figure that is 90% identical to the version that came before, and only has an unmasked head and other minor details no casual fan is interested in. And the headsculpt doesn’t even look great. Hasbro should have released a Kylo with two headsculpts, masked and unmasked. It was a blatant cash grab. I hope it failed and that it gives them a lesson to give their figures more accessories again and not release virtually identical figures of a character that only differ in one detail.

The 1980s paint job is why this figure was a dud.

Not to mention it was a SDCC repack.

Not to mention the actor is ugly af !!

A face only a mother could love.

All of you Force Friday shoppers should keep in mind that a lot of the stuff that came out last year on Force Friday went to clearance prices. Many people bought this Kylo Ren at regular price last year. I just picked him up for $5 at Target and a few of the 5 POA figures from last years Force Friday for 2 dollars each.
