TBS Obi-Wan Force FX Lightsaber Showing Up In Store

If you’re a fan of the Force FX Lightsabers, then Obi-Wan’s is a must! I always hated the fact that the blades were not removable, but in reality they come out easily (most of them) and undamaged if you just want to display the hilt (like I do). JTA Reader and friend sends us a report of finding this at his local Walmart in NJ. It might be time to start checking yours and avoid paying eBay prices. It is a great looking hilt. Are these in your area? Let us know

I thought these came out a while back, my local walmart first stocked them about a month ago.

Saw one at a WM in Tennessee more than a month ago. A friend of mine got one at a WM in north Alabama two weeks ago.

What bothers me about the new fx sabers is that during their announcement Hasbro said they would feature ‘new technology’. They have no new technology to speak of in fact they have less tech than the aforementioned removable blade versions. They couldn’t even give us new sound boards. Thankfully I own obi wans removable blade saber. You’re right Colin, Obi’s is one of the best.

I sent that in, but i left it on the Peg’s. I had a Master Replica’s Darth Vader before Hasbro took over, but just never got back into collecting them. I liked the old Stand’s better, could hang them on a Wall.

Almost positive I saw that at my local WM in TX.

Agreed about the hilt design. My personal favorite lightsaber is Luke’s ROTJ one which, of course, was made with spare parts from Obi-Wan’s home.

I just wish the hilts were accurate. The Obi-Wan and and Luke RoTJ sabers are disrespectfully inaccurate to the film. But this is coming from someone who’s heavily into the custom Lightsaber community…
